American Data Network is pleased to announce its third annual grant intended to forward leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care in Arkansas. The criteria for the grant will include original projects or initiatives that improve the safety of patient care, advocate on the patient’s behalf, and/or identify and address the health needs within the community. Eligible programs include projects new to your facility and/or existing initiatives in need additional funding. All acute care and critical access hospitals in Arkansas are eligible to submit applications for consideration. The recipient will be awarded a one-time payment of $5,000 in support of the grant project.
In 2008, St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR was selected to receive the second ADN Quality Grant in support of the development of a National Patient Safety Goal laboratory. The project aimed to improve patient outcomes and safety by developing a hands-on educational lab to compliment their annual patient care and competency program.
